BMW Mini porous alloys

The air is leaking out of all four tyres and I am assuming it is the alloy wheel beading not sealing correctly. Other than new wheels is there any fix available? Thanks.

Had similar on one of my cars.
Local tyre place removed the tyres, cleaned the wheel inner rim surface, applied some sealant and refitted the tyres, cost £20. That was a few years ago and still no more leaks.

Check it's not the valves too, either where it passes through the wheel and/or the valve stem itself (which can be tightened if needs be).

Soapy water, squirty squirty, you know the drill.

My Saab used to do this - in the end I cleaned and then smooth-hammerited the rims around the bead area and across the full width of the wheel and it sorted it forever.

You could take a punt on Holts Tyreweld or suchlike? If it works great, if not then not lost a huge amount. I had a couple of cars with sllllllllllow leaks and sorted both of those tyres over period of couple of years.

Having said that about tyreweld, if it's really only about £20 to get surface cleaned and sealant applied then this sounds best bet.

Thank you for all replies, I will have the rims cleaned and sealed. Certainly a lot cheaper than new
alloys
