My Volvo V60 was bought knowing it needs a new clutch and DMF (Noisy and graunchy release bearing).
However, I've found its got the most awkward clutch of any car I've driven. It seems to be abnormally light and has very, very little feeling at all.

Is this just a case of it being much newer than any car I've used before (it is a 2013 car with 153k miles) or can the clutch being bad cause this? (Not aware of clutch issues causing them to be light or lack feeling though)

Most noticeable when pulling away. It may well just be me, but thought I'd ask away!

Cheers

That might be a sign you've got broken fingers on the pressure plate. If it has a self-adjustimng clutch, they also get lighter as they adjust.

I think it's safe to assume a new clutch+DMF will sort out any problems anyway.

Interesting. Hopefully this will sort this issue.
It's getting all the new bits in a few weeks, so we will see then
Cheers!

Newer cars tend to have much lighter clutch pedal action than older ones.
