I'm away on holiday, I realised I hadn't checked the engine oil in a long time, and just checked it to find it right on the minimum mark.

The shop only had this in

It's the right grade, but doesn't state a Toyota spec. It's going in for a service and MOT in 2 weeks, but I'll be covering approx 750 miles in that time. It'll be fine....right!? hehe Could do with the full 1L, car holds about 8.5. Might just top it up by 500ml so there isn't loads of it in there.

The wrong oil is better than no oil. It’ll only be in there for 2 weeks.
It’ll be absolutely fine.
A lot of oil specs are related to low ash stuff for DPFs and EGR stuff. Running it on a different spec oil will be fine for a short time.

Thanks chaps. Just added 500ml so it's now half way between min and max.
