My BMC ‘B’ series 1622cc requires a new ignition coil, it is a standard set up so far as I know. Tried to read the label on the old coil and it looks like T 201 standard coil. Trouble is I can’t find what is the equivalent. Help appreciated.

Also will need to replace the condenser, again any help much appreciated.

If it uses a push-in style king lead then a Lucas DB102 (12v version) should be fine. If it uses a screw in king lead the Lucas DLB100 is the one.

It's worth investing in a contact breaker replacement module however (e.g. Accuspark, Pertronics etc..). This fits into the distributor in place of the points and provides a basic electronic ignition which means no worries about points gap adjustment or condensers failing and provides a much better spark for starting. They are completely invisible once fitted, and you can easily revert back to points if you wish.

Another vote for an Accuspark if you find everything is a bit tired - fitted one to an MGB almost 10 years ago and it's been totally reliable since with a new coil.
