I have a couple of US WW2 Jerry cans, but they leak at the bottom

I don’t have any welding gear, is there any resin or epoxy I can line it with

I just need two of them repairing

I don’t know if anyone remembers the saga of my Jeep

Well it’s been a long journey but it’s now fixed and on the road

I did have a few major problems with it, engine blew up, but hopefully that is now fixed

WOW that was a quick reply
I have nothing to lose I’ll give it a try
Might even double the value of the Jerry cans

If they're leaking at the bottom that is probably due to corrosion, in which case they're no longer petrol cans and are now decoration.

It’s not worth even trying to mend them and too risky to carry petrol again. As you say, decoration.

I have always carried a Jerry can on the back of my Jeep

Ever since I have bought it

The two US Jerry cans have been sat in my shed for 2 years

It might be condensation because there is nothing in the US Jerry cans

You don’t get many mpg in a 43 Willys Jeep, so it’s worth carrying a Jerry can
