Tyre inflators
Discussion
I'm after a tyre inflator to keep in the back of the car in case of emergencies, are the 12v plug in type like this any any good

or am I better off going with an old school twin cylinder footpump?
I've got a proper compressor for use at home so it's not going to get used heavily (hopefully never) but if I do need to use it, I'll want one that works and inflate a 16" tyre in less than a week!

Do have some 18v tools but not sure it's the way I'd want to go. I really want something I can leave in the boot and forget about until I need it. Not sure how long a battery holds it's charge but no doubt it would be flat when I needed it!

This is very good for leaving in the car:

And while you wouldn't want to leave it a long time without charge (just cos batteries lose charge) - I now use this as my main inflator - it's surprisingly good:

Weirdly I have the exact models as listed above, ring ones kept in both vehicles glove boxs for emergency and the cordless one in the garage. Would recommend both.https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ring-RAC635-Inflator-Comp...
