Some of these have seized onto the valve stems on my car tyres. I wish to remove them because they have corroded and I'm selling my car, shortly.

Is a rotary tool like Dremmel and a pair of pliers the best way to remove them? A local tyre place removed the ones on my winter tyres. But I'd rather do it myself than pack the wheels in my car for them to do.

Might try a bit of heat - warm them up - & penetrating oil (not WD40) to see if they'll come loose.

If you try & force them with pliers you run the risk of tearing the whole stem off.
As my eldest found out on a Meganesport.....which doesn't have a spare wheel, just a can of squirty stuff. And it's a TPMS type valve.....

VERY careful use of a Dremel with a thin cutting disc to slit the cap sides MIGHT help but be careful!

Put some penetrating fluid on as above like plus gas, then I'd put some mole/vice grips on each end and hold the stem still in one hand and work the other pair on the cap back and forth to hopefully move it
