can i use a 12v 95ah van battery in car? thanks

Hi having issues starting my car 2.0 petrol car. i have a 12v 95ah diesal van battery.

Can i use the battery to try and get the car started?

my understanding is its still 12v but 95ah will keep me going for longer when trying to turn the engine

Yes
The larger dimensions means it may not physically fit if you intend to use it whilst driving the car as opposed to just for starting the car.
Make sure you don’t get the terminals the wrong way round, the + and - may be in different ,locations.

If you have an issue starting the car then a bigger battery is just masking the issue, you will still need to sort out why the car is not starting easily and draining the battery.
