Fitted a new windscreen washer pump and used the old lines to test it, without fastening them in place or routing them properly. Worked well and was an improvement on the old set up. Put new lines in, generic ebay black gloss PVC type, and routed them into place properly.

The jet is now a spurt. I’m wondering if the tubing is too soft and is kinking out of sight somewhere. Do I just need thicker wall PVC or do I need a different type of hard tube, with some plastic 90deg joints here and there? What have you upgraded with?

The lines might be squashed or kinked, or perhaps they had debris in which has blocked the jet.

Yep, was wondering if the new tubing isn't really up to it and prone to kinking.
