I have a vw lupo 1.0 2003. Its had a battery light flickering on and off since march. It has also had an issue of not starting but if I take the key out and leave for 10 minutes then try again it tends to start. When this doesn't work sometimes shaking the wiring next to the starter causes it to start. It has cut out twice while driving with no apparent cause. No codes are storing in the car and none are present currently.

It has had a new alternator, 2 new starters and solenoids as well as a new battery. The issue still persists. I'm chasing my own tail here trying to fix this and I am at a dead end as nothing seems to fit diagnostic wise.

Anyone have any idea what this could be? As the car was perfectly fine then all of sudden has started having issues.

Based on your description, I'd be looking at Earthing points on the car.

I'm not familiar with the Lupo, but many cars have multiple earthing straps / points that need cleaning, tightening or replacing.

Loose earthing points can cause the symptoms you describe.

The plastic covered earthing straps can corrode away under the coating & whilst the ends look fine there may be little or nothing left.
Come across this a few times with older cars.

Get a decent jump lead & connect directly from battery earth terminal to a good clean bit of metal on the engine & see if it makes any difference.

As above, you have diagnosed it yourself, the issue is one of the major connections in the battery/starter/alternator circuis isn't as good as it should be.

Take them all off one by one, clean them & replace them tightened up correctly.
