If fitting some electric seats to the car but can’t de-pin the old harness, does anyone know what type pin/connector this is? I can then solder up a new pin/wire and fit it into the new harness.

Thanks

More pics of plug showing sides, ends and rear would help

Make of car?

Those terminals will almost certainly release from the moulding

There is likely to be a plastic sliding locking mechanism at one side or end of the moulding plus the terminal itself will very likely have a locking tag that will need bending in to release it

Something like this

Thanks yep that’s the one!

My de-pinning kits a bit crap, it’s bending when it tries to push the tabs down, can feel it starting to push then the bloody things bend rolleyes

I’ll have to dremel them out later, they’re spare harnesses anyway but still a pain. Just need to get the other side out then I can solder some power wire up and run it to the fuse box in the boot

Nicely done, you got it out

Steel from wiper blade ground down in size is strong for terminal removal if you're ever in trouble

Good tip that thanks!

The kit I’ve got is useless, was at it hours today and had to hack the harness to bits in the end to get them out. All sorted now though!
