Power steering pump re-con

Just been quoted £850 for a new power steering pump from a dealer, and that's with discount!
After getting up off the floor realised the only sensible way forward is to remove it and get it reconditioned.
Autodoc have no stock of any brand so there must be some kind of availability issue which allows them to charge so much for it.
Does anybody know/recommend a company which would be able to do this?
