2 post car lift installation issue
Discussion
Just installed a used 3 phase 2 post car lift, but we are having an issue with setting up the 'tension wire".
We are without a set of instructions or any idea of the make/model of the lift, which is far from ideal.
We have an upper and lower limit Pizzato switch on post 1.
We also have, what I'm calling a thin tension wire, that is on a separate Pizzato pulley switch. The wire is connected somewhere at the bottom of post 1, runs up to the top of the post, through the pulley switch, runs back down the post and then over to post 2 at ground level. The wire then runs up to the leg of post 2 and this is where you can set the tension.

Here you can see the wire at ground level running parallel to the chain and then coiled up next to the leg:

Can anyone advise how to set the tension wire up correctly?
We have had the motor running intermediately, by pulling on the tension wire, but now we can't get it running at all, no matter how much will tighten or loosen the tension wire.
A link to a set of instructions of a similar design would be brilliant...
Thanks!

My lift is from Twin Busch. I'm pretty sure they are all very similar in operation. Anyway, they host all their manuals online, free to access, might be worth a look?
