I am refurbing my clutch slave cylinder on a 49 year old car, so parts are hard to come by! Photos below. The rubber was leaking, so I need to replace. It looks like a V washer, or rather (if it existed!) a W washer, as there are 2 flanges. Diagram shows a V washer, the red line indicates what I think the cut through is

Rubber goes in the grove of the metal pusher and then slides into the cylinder.

For bonus points, what size too. The ID would be the 12.2mm, OD the 20.4mm, the height the 6.0mm. But I imagine the washer needs the OD to be 21mm+, so it's snug?

Struggling to work out what shape that seal is. Knowing the make and model of the vehicle might help you track the part down.

The clutch slave seals I'm used to seeing are square section seals that would fit in the groove you show in the piston and have a groove around the side that is pressurised. Using tyre terminology the groove would be in the sidewall not the tread iyswim. What you're showing there looks rather different. I do wonder whether you're looking at the mangled remains of something that started out a very different shape such as those thin sections being the worn-through remains of a more conventional seal.

Thanks. I did wonder but I’ve seen others that look the same, like so. On this diagram it’s part 4

Thanks for the links chaps.

Jay mic aren’t coming back to me and want £20, the other one is autodoc and I’m not a fan.

I’d wondered if it was a fairly standard washer I could get from RSonline or similar.
