Hi,

I'm just about ti buy a Xsara Picasso which has been serviced very regularly and looked after.

It has low mileage for the year but the seller says that Fuse 15 keeps blowing.

Is this a serious issue?

Thank you.

Here is a link to the xsara fuses, which may or may not be the same as the car you are looking at.

https://fuseandrelay.com/citroen/xsara.html

There are two fuse 15.

One is for the left low beam or the ignition coil/high pressure fuel pump etc. depending on which fuse box is fitted. If it is the first then should be not too difficult to sort. If it is the second then could be costly.

The other fuse panel also has a fuse 15 which is for the heated seats.

It may be neither of these fuses if the car has different fuse boxes or if it is actually a 15 amp fuse and the seller is just referring to the number written on the fuse.

The seller states it is an intermittent electrical fault, you change the fuse and its ok for for few months and then within blow again.

As above, you need more info than "fuse 15" to stand a chance of working out the issue.

The fuse is responsible for the instrument panel, air con, radio etc.
