Squeaking door seal

My wife's car has slowly developed a squeak from the drivers door, audible when moving, even just with road vibrations.

I've narrowed it down to the the rubber on rubber door seal.

I tried cleaning it thoroughly when washing the car, but it did nothing. I tried some C2V3 silicon spray and it lessened a little. I eventually cured it by rubbing olive oil on it (both sides) and it worked, but only for a week/10 days, then I had to do it again.

Is there anything that anyone has used that gives a more permanent solution?

Red rubber grease or the legendary Shin-Etsu grease.
