After my younger brother had a kerb-related mishap last week (which "wasn't his fault"), I'm after a new full sized 15" steel wheel with tyre for a 2008 Ford Fiesta 1.2 (mk6 not the newer shape).

Trouble is he's hundreds of miles away at university. What's the best and most cost-effective way of getting him a replacement steel wheel delivered please?

Edit: tyre size is 195/50R15

Send him the money to buy it or order it to be delivered to him.

Could try https://www.shiply.com to get some quotes.

Surely the cheapest route is for him to find one on facebook or scrappies local to him. Has he got a spare so he can drive the car a few miles to collect a wheel?

Or if you absolutely have to do it for him:

If you can get one from a local scrappy for a tenner, sending it to him via shiply or paisleyfreight is probably cheapest.

If not, this is on ebay, get it sent direct to his address.

TBH I'd send him the above link as a backstop and leave him to decide what route to take. Else big brother could end up doing the legwork and pay for the wheel too.

Ebay, and have it delivered to him - or send him to local scrappies.

Thanks all, a new wheel + tyre on Ebay wasn't much more than a rusty used one so all sorted now.
