Are all Lumenition sensors the same?
Discussion
A friend has given me a Lumention power module, but as its just the module i need to get a sensor to fit my Bosch dizzy, (Pinto) .
Ive seen lots of sensors on eBay that are new old stock for not too much, will any of these fit as long as i but the appropriate fitting kit with chopper wheel etc for my Diz?
I currently have right handed points on a clockwise turning distributer.

I don't think they're all the same - the plastic body of the sensor has various shapes to make it fit with the mounting kit. I bought a Lumenition power unit that came with a Ford distributor hoping I could adapt the sensor for my Vauxhall distributor to avoid buying a new one, but it didn't seem possible. I'll have a look for it and post a photo, in case it's the one you need, but it might be a day or two as I have a major job on at the moment.
This is the one I have. You can see it has a horizontal chopper plate, with the LED pair mounted to suit. This one has one piece missing from the chopper plate, but I don't think that bit is very expensive. The one on my Vauxhall distributor has "fingers" that sit at 90 degrees to the bottom of the rotor arm, and the LED pair mounted on the base plate.
