Brake Brands

I’m doing a brake refurb on my 2003 Fabia Vrs and I’ve bought a set of Trw callipers but can’t make my mind up on the discs and pads.
In reality anything would do but I prefer to fit quality.
Seems to be a minefield out there and I know it’s been discussed before, I’m also aware Tmd friction own a few.

Pagid, ok,
Mintex, junk,
Eicher, junk.
Brembo, hit and miss.
Apec, good.
Textar, very good.
Bosch, hit and miss.

I’m thinking of giving the Pagid a go as I don’t track it or give the brakes a hard life.
Any thoughts on the brands to avoid?

Personally, I have only ever used either Pagid or Mintex in recent years & have never had any issues at all, just beware that many brands are widely copied, so beware of where you buy from.

Apec I would class as a budget brand.
M-tec I wouldn't touch with a bargepole.
Eicher are junk.
