I need to get a pair of these made up.
Roughly 120mm x 137mm x 50mm thick (Can be cut from 50mm plate, that'd do).

I havd a dxf file of it.
Can anyone help, or put me in touch with a company that can?
Thank you

Too thick for laser cutting so you’re looking at CNC machining.

it appears to be a simple enough shape so either find a local machine shop or one of the many online places such as Fractory or PCBWay.

Waterjet would cut that out easy.

What’s it for? Does it have to be steel?

I’d get a hole saw and drill the middle out of the plate, drill the corners and then grind off the rest…it would work OR it should be easy for a fabrication machine shop to do (not that many left though that are reliable)

Yeah, I do have the kit to do it by hand, but I also know it will be a huge amount of aggro. Want to pay someone to do it, tbh.

Roughly where are you based? I know a guy in Chiddingfold that would do it for you.

It depends on the accuracy required, at 50mm thickness the tolerance will be around +/- 2.5mm

I think you have the tick box that allows other members to message you turned off.

Not much luck finding anyone to make it for me - only person who quoted wanted 1K for it. Nobody else was interested (I think we can say a 1K quote is also not interested). So made em myself today:

Yes, and with hindsight, I was a muppet and looked at the wrong screen! Apologies.
Anyway, FWIW, it was quite enjoyable to make. Not as good as a pro job, but if I did them again, I reckon I could improve.
