Can anyone recommend a lightweight, lithium battery? I’ll be using it in an Alfa Giulietta QV and would like something that is plug and play (or, just replaced the regular battery with no external charging or anything)

Thanks!

Lithium based batteries have very different charging characteristics so any drop-in 'battery' needs to contain its own controller, which bumps up the price.

Antigravity have some lithium based batteries that use the same form factor as a classic lead acid battery, but they're very pricey. If this is a weight saving measure, it's an extremely expensive option. Have you considered a smaller motorsport style agm battery?

I have had a few lithium batteries and I have not been impressed with reliability (one was antigravity)

I agree that worth trying a motorsport one that may be a little heavier but cheaper and Poss more reliable.

Thanks guy, I appreciate the advice. Shame they’re still unreliable and expensive.

AGM could be the way to go I guess
