Our 2013 ford Kuga, air con was non existent, took it to our MOT place he drained , checked it held a vacuum but when he put pressure into it the condenser popped.

New one arrived today, I'm going to fit it at the weekend,as I may have to take most of the front end off(also doing something to the headlights,so it's coming off as there is a headlamp bolt hidden away), anything to look out for?

It's going in for a refill etc next week

New 'o' rings at the joints you disturb and wet the 'o' rings with the correct oil, PAG46 for example, but check.

Have fun, the amount of stuff you need to rip of these to get at it is fun - for the workshop that is.

I failed, I started at about 0900 today, I got loads of clip's etc off, headlights out, but the front end wouldn't come off, something was holding it back, I'd watched a YouTube video of the complete job but no luck

It's back together now with drl's added under the headlights, then it poured down and as I was outside I gave up.

Going to get a couple of quotes tomorrow
