My Renault Trafic van doesn’t have a coolant temp gauge, only a light that changes from blue, (cold), off, (normal), or red, (hot and probably HGF).

To get around this problem, I’ve bought a Racetech gauge, pod and fitting kit, but I’m not keen on drilling holes through the top of the dash for the fear of catching any wires with the drill.

Would Araldite be sufficiently strong enough to stick the gauge pod to the top of the dash? Or would something else be better suited to the job?

Thanks in advance thumbup

3M VHB tape should hold it really well, and you've got more chance of removing it in the future than using a glue.

Thanks Dave thumbup

I’ve never heard of that stuff but I’ll look into it.
