Oil expiration date?

[Lannister902]

I've just received oil for a zf transmission oil change.

It has this printed on the back...

Is that a use by date on the end of that code?

[Teflon Jon]

It's probably date of manufacture
I've never known of expiry date on oils .

Or rather, the date of container fill. Not sure it would be a ‘manufacture’ or ‘extraction’ date!
