I've found this to be a really good instant gasket maker on transmissions and sump pans it's mainly USA based you can get in UK from Amazon etc. I've used the grey there is also a black.

Not heard of the Granville stuff, good to know.

I found through the Permatex website that they do have a UK distributor which is Wynn's who most know about. I searched their site for Permatex Right-Stuff, but couldn't find it. I then did a search on Wynn's site for gasket maker and there it is, they have rebadged/branded it under their own brand Wynn's Black Gasket Maker. https://www.wynns.uk.com/product/black-gasket-make... its the same stuff.

200ml is a lot, how many engines are you building? smile

If you're only gonna use it once or rarely get a tube which are normally 70 or 80ml and probably half the price.

Something like this which is also a good make.

Edit.. That's what happens when you start to reply and then go off and do something else.

Toyota FIPG would be a similar substitute to Permatex. There's a few comparisons of the 2 online.
