Lathe turner required in NW for small modification

Hello,

I have been trying to find someone in Preston (NW) to turn down a motorbike wheel spacer that I have. It will literally take 5mins of anyone's time. It seems like the bigger machine shops will not do this, and my working hours prevent me from visiting some of the smaller places.

Are there any Pistonheaders who would be kind enough to do this for me, and I will be happy to transfer any costs via Bank Transfer. The item itself is about 20mm dia x 60mm long, so easily posted.

20mm x 60mm ? So quite small then? Made of? ..... Stainless perhaps? Pretty much anyone with a lathe could do this (I have a lathe but am in Gloucestershire). If you get stuck and can't find anyone within walking / driving distance (it's a 'while you wait kinda job) then give me a shout and I'll do it for you.

Hello. Thanks for replying and for your offer to help. A work colleague overheard me talking about this today and has offered to sort it out on his lathe! But thanks for your kind offer - it is much appreciated.
