Accurate gauge for an air compressor powered tyre inflator

Hi all

Currently using a 12v tyre inflator to pump the tyres up but I have an OK proper air compressor I can use.

Question is, can you get a tyre inflator with a decent gauge or so I resort to a separate gauge?

Budget up to 50 quid if possible

The draper one is likely fine, worst case it will be consistent but a bit high or low. Probably as good as any cheap gauge or supermakert pump.

I believe PLC are considered the go to in industry.

Machine Mart appear to have a number of Clark inflators which look reasonable for the same sort of money as the draper.
Also a Clarke branded liner inflator which looks to me like a branded PLC Airforce Mk3, all be it around the price of the Mk4 from screwfix!

I also have one of these, all be in BluePoint branded, and its a cheap and robust little gauge.

Another consideration, which I have been looking at myself lately, is a portable air tank.

- Charge it up on the compressor in the garage, and take it to the car/tyre needing inflating, without having to lug the compressor or a huge hose around.
- You could even stick it in the boot and take it to rescue a stranded car, all be it I would likely pack a decent manual or 12v pump as well.
