My engine bay is super tight and I'm struggling to keep the coolant hoses away from the exhaust.

I've got some stainless pipe that I can wrap in heat reflective tape and the red, silicone fire hose stuff, but am i going to suffer still, if its too close to the exhaust, which is heat wrapped.

did your ex fit it, if so ask her.
joking aside, that red heat shield shown in the pic is good stuff.

It looks like it's literally touching the exhaust, inches away from the turbo. Even with two layers of fibreglass in between, that's going to cause heat damage.

Can you get a heat shield in there to hold the hose away from the manifold, to give you an air gap?
