Got a Lambda sensor on my Peugeot 307 which is stuck solid; giving a 2ft long breaker bar all I can and still not moving, have tried both hot and cold.

Are all penetrating oils much the same, at the moment spraying it with RP90 oil but wondering if there is anything stronger out there to try? Or perhaps just need to spray it daily for a month to see if it will eventually soak in.

When they get this bad I wouldn't expect penetrating oil to do anything.

Lots of heat with a torch and if it still doesn't want to turn out, cut the lead off and rattle it out with the impact wrench.

Heat is your friend here, it may gall the threads on removal so a re tap may be necessary.

As above forget penetrating oil, it will do nothing.

You need REAL heat on it, ideally get the stub that the sensor fits in glowing red, you are extremely likely to need to recut the thread afterwards, so be ready with a tap before refitting, or the same will happen again.

Depending on where it is, I've had success previously with getting a lever (socket or spanner) onto the hex, then getting a trolley jack under the lever and cracking it off that way.

If you've tried a breaker bar, this might not work though.

Good luck!

Heat, either flame or induction. Or impact socket and light impact gun.

The best penetrating oil tested in an American test was half ATF and half acetone. It required half the force of the next best "branded" penetrating oil. It's all I use now.

Indeed it is, I too always have a bottle pre-mixed up & use a small old-school oil can to get it where I need it, alas it will do nothing on this one, heat & lots of it is the only answer.

It can't be stuck if it's liquid.
