Meriva B - Fuse blowing when when fan cuts in? HELP!

I'd, with everything turned off, make sure the fan blade was free to spin (had no debris in it etc), if so, I'd unplug it and then give it an unfused 12v supply, if it spins up the faults in the wiring to it, if you get nothing then the fan itself is knackered.

Almost certainly either a stiff/seized fan or fan wiring issue assuming the fuse is the correct size.
