Key fob struggle

Hi all , can anyone help ..

I have this key fob as a second key .. it needs a new battery but can’t for the life of me find how to open it up ??

Here’s a pic , some of you may have a similar key and be able to enlighten me !!

Try an online search for your make and model. I am sure there will be You Tube videos on there. Or read the handbook!
For BMW fobs the (reserve-use) key is within the fob, withdraw that key, and press it into a second slot to pop the battery casing.

I would but I don't think its a VW replacement part, its just a generic random fob

but yea i will have a look on the tube now
