What size copper washer would I need for this? Has a slight leak.

Yeah? I'm not sure anyone is going to deduce this from one picture with no context. Is there a parts catalogue you can look up online? Or tell us what the vehicle is and what the bolt is for?

Re-use the same washer. If you remove it and heat it up until it's glowing orange, then when it cools it will be soft enough to be used again.

As above, re-anneal it and it will be fine. No need to buy new ones.

Thanks is it a copper one? Sort of looks white. I could remove and heat up I have a blowtorch

That looks like an aluminium washer, if so its one use and replace, any motor factor will have these.

99% of the time you can get the thread diameter from the hex size of the bolt head.

10mm hex - 6mm thread

13mm hex - 8mm thread

Aluminium can be annealed too, although it's a little trickier than with copper.

Put the washer on the metric marks of the tape measure and align it so you're certain you're at the full diameter of the bore.
