Wiper blade fittings
Discussion
Can anyone tell me what kind of fitting this is please? It's a flat blade with a metal pin that projects about 2mm on one side. It's for a boat not a car but I presume all wiper blades are automotive in origin.

I like this QH Aeroflex design but despite fitting '99% of cars' with 13 different adaptors, it won't fit on the arm:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0B99J228T?th=1
The current blade is Bosch, but I couldn't find that design and it doesn't look as neat on the windscreen as the slimline design above.

Thanks!

Thanks, that looks like it. But where to find a nice-looking blade that fits it?Same place but once you know what you need shop around:

Do it the old fashioned way with a refill?
Just done all 3 on my Classic Range Rover - they're the early style with a pin.
Ordered a pack of 4 rubbers off amazon & glad I did as my Sprinter needed a new rubber for the MOT.
Total cost was £4.98 incl p&p as opposed to around £50 for whole blades.
Not difficult, remove old rubber c/w metal strips from the blade, fit metal strips to new rubber & fit. Trim rubber to length & refit to vehicle.
You'd probably find your complete ones at a chandlery but no doubt they'll have 'boat tax' added!

Something doesn't make sense though - why does a boat built in 2012 need wiper blades from a vintage car?https://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/categories/vcp-w...

I hadn't thought of that. Are all rubbers the same section?Just done all 3 on my Classic Range Rover - they're the early style with a pin.

But ideally I'd like to have slim wiper blades like the Aeroflex ones, not the rather ugly Bosch ones I currently have.

You could always change the wiper arm for something more modern to allow a greater choice of blades.
The current arms are Vetus. I could get Vetus blades but they don't look as nice as the Aeroflex style and have 'boat tax'.I think the spindle diameter is 16mm; what do you think would fit? Prefer black finish. The current blades are about 13" but could be a bit longer.
