Just in the process of a Rover K series engine swap.

I don’t want my car to be a show pony but I’ve cleaned everything up to inspect for damage etc and would like to treat the block, gearbox and mounts with something to stop the furring coming back. What would people recommend? It needs to be heat proof of course and not look too ‘showy’

Cheers

I would personally use silver / aluminium engine lacquer but you could use clear lacquer if you were worried it looked too showy or as though you were trying to hide something

Cheers Phil. Is there a product you can recommend?

I use Simoniz ally engine paint on all the K series engines I build..

Make sure the surface is clean and scrubbed of any corrosion, the end result looks good and is durable.
