Looking for something to hopefully stop my cbr600 fuel tap leaking.
It's from the flange fitting, 22mm nut that compresses a ring in-between the tank and the tap.

I've replaced the oe oring with a new oe spec one, I've fitted a new tap with a new oring.

Current thinking is a type of fuel proof sealant as a backup to the oring(1.3mm cross section)

I have used Sic-tite (Ptfe paste) on motorbike fuel taps/fittings, seems to work OK.

If you need to seal the threads consider Permatex High Performance Thread Sealant 56521.

If you need to seal the O Ring you could use Permatex Permashield Fuel Resistant Gasket Dressing and Flange Sealant 85420.
