Hi,

I'm trying to replace the heater ducting hose on my classic car. It's a 2" wide, (50mm), 1m long flexible air hose that joins the air vent to the heater box. It's not repairable. The difficulty is, one end is a 50mm round fitting and the other end is a 60mm by 30mm oval. Not sure what I can buy that I can make fit. Is under the dash so doesn't have to be pretty. Ideally something that I can stretch or heat to make the oval fit would be the most obvious but I'm not sure what would work. Any idea what type of hose would do the job?

Thanks,

Andy

I've managed to sort it by splicing two hoses together - but, I like that idea thanks.

I would have thought 50mm diameter would have been pretty much the same as 60/30 oval when warmed up a bit & squashed.
