What fuse rating?
Discussion
I have a CTEK MXS5 battery conditioner and would like to wire a new cable in to the engine bay for easier connection. The cable I bought from Amazon comes fitted with a 20A fuse, but also has 15, 25 and 30A fuses.
As the CTEK is really a conditioner not a charger, 20A seems very high. Should I fit a lower amperage fuse or doesn't it really matter?

Thanks very much, I'll see what I can find that suits better.
Previously I used an Airflow conditioner (without a fuse, as I had done happily for many years), but when I had a cable fitted in my previous car by a garage last year I was ticked off for not fitting a fuse. The new cable has a fuse holder so I may as well use it!
