Renault Kadjar 922C64 fault
Discussion
I have a really annoying issue with my Renault Kadjar and I am at my wits end - so are 4 different mechanics who have looked at it and I am in need of some real help with this.
Just for a bit of background:
2020 Renault Kadjar 1.5 blue automatic
42000 miles
Timing belt and water pump replaced at 40000 miles
New glow plugs fitted this weekend (as two had failed)
Full service history
New fuel filter and oil sensor done in last month
Main issue:
I keep getting the Check Vehicle (with the orange spanner) pop up - fault code is 922C64 which points to the oil pressure sensor. Its very strange though - if I get in the car, depress the brake pedal and start straight away, no warning comes on. If I get in the car, turn the ignition on (without starting) and wait a couple of seconds then the spanner comes on. Same issue with the stop/start - if I deactive it then I don't have any issues, but if I leave it on, when the car stops at traffic lights and the engine cuts, a couple of seconds later the Check Vehicle comes on and get the error code pointing to the sensor
I have been researching this for a while now and a couple of videos point to running an independent ground wire from the oil pressure sensor to the underbody of the car as apparently its a common fault with the 1.5's as the sensor does not have an independent ground and they can get corroded.
Really looking for some advice if anyone has any

Just a quick "general" point.
For very obvious reasons when the engine isn't running the pressure drops.
What should be happening is the ECU should be taking the "not running" status of the engine into account in the situations that you are having the issue.
The (also) obvious point is whilst the oil light may come on in these situations the CEL shouldn't be coming on.
By all means try the separate earth in case it makes a difference if it is a known fault. Although you should only need to run a wire to the engine as it has a large chassis earth (assuming that is good) although it may also be worth trying a simple Jump lead from the engine to the chassis/battery to see if that is also an issue.
It may also be worth checking that the signals are getting through from the relative sensors.

Thank you (as always)
I have a video of the fault if it makes it easier - really kicking me this one lol

You haven't started the engine, of course there will be a low oil pressure warning & engine light on.I have a video of the fault if it makes it easier - really kicking me this one lol

EXACTLY the same as getting in ANY car, turning the ignition on but not starting the engine.
I see what you are saying - but when not starting the engine I should not be getting the orange spanner and the check vehicle message. Ive had three of these cars and never had that (or would expect a maintenace spanner just for turning the ignition on) - top right of the display
The orange spanner indicates a fault and does not go off when driving, needs to be reset with my scanner

OK, I didn't see the spanner & didn't realise the code needed resetting in the instance shown on the video. The orange spanner indicates a fault and does not go off when driving, needs to be reset with my scanner
The rest (As shown) is exactly as per any other car I can remember seeing.
I suspect you may well have an ECU fault that is (as per my original post) NOT ignoring the obvious instance of engine not running = low oil pressure which should not give a code that needs resetting.
ETA.
But to rule it out, why not try what you have found as a potential issue with the wiring/switch, nothing to lose.

Find out what kind of sensor it is.
Manually verify its receiving power and ground and is outputting the correct signal as relevant.
If the power/ground are good but the signal is spurious or nonsensical, rule out the fact that there IS an oil pressure issue, by measuring it by another means.
