Hello all.
Ive just bought a 2023 Skoda Superb plug in Hybrid that had hit the kerb sideways and set off the curtain and drivers seat airbag.
I assume because of this its blown the pyro fuse for the battery, does anyone know if its located within the battery on this model?
Also does anyone know where the airbag ecu is?
Cheers

Airbag ECU's are generally pretty much centre of the car, so likely centre console or under rear seats. YT shows behind centre console on one video but from an earlier model year.Ive just bought a 2023 Skoda Superb plug in Hybrid that had hit the kerb sideways and set off the curtain and drivers seat airbag.

Battery isolators are geneerally right next to the battery for obvious reasons.
I guessed as much, I lifted the gearstick surround and ash tray are infront of it and didnt find it but im guessing ill need to dig deeper. Im not sure if I actually need to remove it to get it reset or it can be done by plugging in the OBD.
Yeah I think ill have to drop the battery and open it, a bit of a pain as ill need to remove the exhaust also.

That looks to just got up to 2017?VCDS turned up today so I plugged it in and reset the crash log for the engine and battery and the engine started and then plugged it in and it charged fine!
Still a few faults showing but I need to replace some bent bits so I can move it and that will probably get rid of some.
It slid sideways into a kerb at about 80mph.
If i can get it fully sorted for under £9k then its a reasonable bargain seeing as they go for £16k+.
Its done 39k miles so I need to service the DSG box too.
