Any ideas? Ideally not involving petrol or cleaners chemical stuff
To not clean it chemically (I would think) is to not clean it properly, not sure why you wouldn't want to do it properly.
What does the manufacturer recommend?
Is it a "paper" element just disguised as a "K & N" type filter or a proper copy type (if you see what I mean) as that will make a difference to what you can do with it.
