Can I get a replacement gearchange cable bushing? see pics

Can I get bushings for gear change cables on a 2009 Mitsubishi colt 1.3? I have just taken the gearbox out to do a clutch change and when popping one of the gearbox change cables off, the existing bushing rubber disintegrated (see photos). I have seen some inner plastic bushings online, but these don't look like the correct ones and are for other vehicles. I really don't want to spend a hundred pounds plus on a new set of cables when there is nothing wrong with my existing cables. The existing housing for the cable is approximately 30mm OD x 10mm deep, but thats a very rough measure as I did not have a vernier or even a proper ruler when measuring. Anyone know anything that would fit?

I'd tape it up, and fill it with sikaflex and let it set...then hope it pops back together and survives another 10-15 years of service 🤞

Otherwise, its a new pair of bowden cables, which generally aren't a fun job

I remember when I had my Mk2 MR2, I replaced the bushing with skateboard bearings...

But something like the other suggestion could work, or get a Polyurethane kit and mould new ones in-situ?

Do you mean just put it in situ and then cake it in the Sikaflex?

what about getting some JB weld and bonding some metal washers to the top and bottom and then filling with Polyurethane?

I think you’re going to need to measure it properly and look for a universal rubber bush / linkage

If it helps the car shares the same engine and gearbox as a smart 4/4
