Evening guys, I couldn't find a dedicated tool sub forum?

I need a new travel tool bag for the fury. The one from the old car is too small a ropey as now.

Theres very little space in the car. So This is likely to live under the bonnet for road trips. I was looking at tool rolls instead this time abit neater.

Needs to be soft so not hard base
Reasonable size for spanners pliers and screwdrivers. Small socket set. Bit set the usual stuff really.

The atlas 46 stuff looks decent from the states but it's pretty spenny.

Bonus points for waterproof as it will get damp on the road under the bonnet.

Plan is to put some straps in for it here, or up a well in the sill box as that side is actually empty.

Check out these Irwin tool bags, we used them at work (shipbuilding) and they were good quality, you can pack quite a lot of tools in them.

I think you need to have the tracking checked.

You'd be amazed how stuff works itself loose on a long run. If it were me, I'd not strap a roll of tools in the engine bay.

Can you affix a box in that space and strap a roll of tools in the box?

I'm a sailor pretty good a knots ?

It's a fair point. I might set a box into that silly in the passager cockpit I'm not mad about using that space under there as it's potentially where the future dry sump tank could go.

Looks like very uneven wear on that right tyre.
