Renewing entitlement - how long?

I'm 45 next week so sent off all my documents in good time, roughly three weeks ago and I've still heard nothing back yet.
How long does it normally take as I'm getting worried I'll have to take an enforced holiday, due to not having entitlement on my licence.

If they have been that long then they should have sent you a letter allowing you to drive until the licence comes back or any medical issues are resolved

Mine took ten days, and that included the form being returned because the doctor filled it in incorrectly
