Strange or exotic loads.
Had a couple over the years, the first was a clutch for an Argentine navy frigate (pre falklands) was big enough to fill a dropside transit.
Racing show bikes(ducati)
Latest was two Tesler chassis to Thatcham

a few over the years, recently a load of frozen lambs i delivered to smithfield. notes said lamb, so i was expecting the usual 2000 boxes of lamb, not the 900 actuall lambs that greeted me when i opened the doors smile

my fave, has to be the lifesize t-rex that i carried round for a year on the walking with dinosaurs tour smile

Nah, I just sorted out the haulage. It was a favour for a friend of a friend who'd bought the original prop from the movie & was doing a tidy trade exhibiting it at shows & conventions. From memory, we took it the excel arena.

Not in a truck so hope it's allowed!

Few years ago I did bit of agency work and ended up doing deliveries for a Bookers Cash & Carry store.
One delivery was vending cigarettes and collecting from the customer payment for last weeks delivery.
On the week after the budget returning to the C&C I was waved down by the police.

I stopped in the layby but kept the engine running and just opened the window a couple of inches, asked the BiB for ID, he got very stroppy!
He was a real BiB and I got a ticket for quite a lot over the limit (it was a new VW van and went quite well!), he asked why I asked for ID.

I told him I was just being cautious as I had £46k in coins in the van!

Think that this (or another very similar) ended up as part of the theming at one of my old work sites, defiantly got a few looks from people as they drove down the motorway and getting it into position was another task in itself

I drove my highest value yet the other day.

26 pallets of branded pharmacutical tablets. valued at over £2 million apparently.
