Sprinter or Crafter

Currently got a VW LT35 158bhp lwb van which I'm looking to replace with a newer van again of same type.

Looking at both Crafter 163ps or Sprinter 316 going to be used for race team towing trailers carrying spares etc. Trailer will be towards the upper limit of towing capacity so being good on that side of things is important.

Which does everyone think is the one to go for?

Sprinter has a 2.2 engine, Crafter is only 2.0
Personally I would have the Sprinter. It looks better than the Crafter

The Crafter uses a belt drive for the cam, whilst the Sprinter is chain driven. They do however both rust equally badly.
