We are looking at replacing our 2015 Crafter panel van with something newer, and we are looking at either a 1-2 year old approved used Crafter or a Sprinter, but they are slightly older/higher miles for the budget (around £30k).

The Maxus 9 has been suggested as an alternative which initially I'd dismissed but on the face of it they look ok, does anyone have any experience using these?

We bought a Maxus Deliver 9 (2 litre diesel) right at the end of 2021 as it was literally the only vehichle with immediate delivery. Had to go 150 miles to collect it. 2 years on and some 30K plus miles its been more reliable than the Toyota Proace vans we run! I think it helps it gets serviced evrey 18K miles and not 25k miles.

If you debadged it, people would think it was Ford Transit. Radio and BT in the base model is CRAP! But apart from that, so far so good.

Sprinter all day long and the slightly higher mileage wouldn't worry me in the slightest . 400,000 miles is easily attainable as long as they are well serviced and with all due respects you won't find another Make of Van on the planet that readily has that capability
