just looking to replace a van at work but money is a little tighter than usual so thinking instead of VW Transporters (which have cost us loads of money in repairs over the year) at other options.

I noticed there are some crazy good deals on vivaro 5d 100PS Prime H1 - £287 ex vat a month with 1 month deposit down - basically half of what a transporter would be

just wondering if there's anything else I should be considering? (the only vans we've ever had were VW's) so I have no experience in anything else in terms of commercial vehicles

Try sitting in one first, there isn’t a great deal of leg room, other than that they are alright for a cheap van.

I'd be speaking to said engineer first. If all the others are in a more premium Transporter will they be happy 'downgrading' to a Vivaro? For some it could be enough for them to consider moving on

Vivaro is fine

I don’t understand the lack of interior room comment, never noticed an issue

They seem to have sorted out the ad blue issue on the earlier models

Same for me, I (at 6'4") actually find the Stellantis vans better ergonomically than the "premium " VWs. And as a business we've always found them more reliable.
