Trafic/Vivaro 1.6
Discussion
I'm considering buying a van and looking at the Trafic/Vivaro 1.6 of about 2017/2018 vintage. I liked the earlier 2.0 version (reliable and bodies were solid) right up to the point I needed to pull an injector. Other than that It was great. Replacement engines were really scarce as a result as they all had the same problem.
What are the later 1600 versions like? Do they have any big problems? I've had a google and haven't seen anything.

Hi! Since I'm looking at these also (1.6 from 2016 onwards) I'll ask here... is there a specific year or engine type that helps me identify if it's using AdBlue? Tends to not be mentioned in ads, and I had found some reports of issues with that system so would rather avoid if I can...
from when I was looking at this I found that there were some in 2016 but by 2017 they should all have it.
I think It's true to say that without adblue they are Euro 5 and with adblue they're Euro 6 (perhaps someone could confirm). It is pretty easy to check this online via the reg' plate so that should give you an easy definitive answer.

Thanks! That seems to be the case. 2017 was euro 6, before that was euro 5. Test drive a 2018 model yesterday which did have adblue, in the end I gave it a miss because of other faults and issues. Did quite like how it drove though.I think It's true to say that without adblue they are Euro 5 and with adblue they're Euro 6 (perhaps someone could confirm). Next piece of trivia is to find out how/when reach/height adjustable steering wheels came into play for these vans
