Anyone running a Corolla Commercial for work? How are you getting on with it? The type of journeys I do the drivetrain makes perfect sense, I’m currently getting increasingly fed up with DPF regens that usually start when I arrive home !
My only concern is a lack of security & I’ll have to start unloading tools when I finish for the day but I’m thinking some sort of van safe/vault would mitigate this somewhat. There are some good prices & availability for facelifted models with low miles so feeling tempted.

I cant say about the commercial variant but for a short while i can a suzuki swace which is a corolla in drag.

I can say it was a reasonable drive and gave decent economy of 60+ mpg without really trying.

My big issue was that post july 24 they came with allsorts of 'assistance' systems such as speed limit recognition which constantly bings at you despite not actually being the correct road speedd, lane departure systems that think pot hole are the edge of the road etc. All this meant i got rid of it after only a couple of months, i would have another but it would be a slightly earlier model that didnt have these features as they cant be permanently turned off.

Would have been interesting to plug techstream into one and see these annoying often unfit for use safety 'features' actually can be turned off.
I'd have to upgrade my techstream version to suit the newer models, but if anyone does have the latest version and has had success doing so we'd all like to hear of it.
One would hope techstream would also work on Swace, which is after all the same vehicle, i'm especially interested as a Swace is 90% the likely next vehicle for us, Suzi Across (Rav 4 clone) is a nice thought too but adds more complication.
