Iveco Daily Van???
Discussion
Having taken the advice of the replies on my thread about an ex Royal Mail van, I am still hunting for a suitable van. I went to buy a tidy Transit 2.2 today but sadly when I got there the engine was not a happy bunny so I walked away. I have found a nice spec/size Iveco Daily 2018 model with 105k on the clock. Any feedback on these?

Any thoughts on the Renault Master or Nissan NV400?
Robin can I ask you if you have a particular dislike to the Mercedes Sprinter because these are total junk in comparison my friend ,Ideally you want the Sprinter prior to the current version . No Adblue and a far better van the present one with frequent oil and filter changes this van will see you off to the crematorium mate with 400,000 miles easily achievable . If you don't need the the LWB then all the better .
4x4 pickups are handy for towing perhaps, but useless for carrying things in the bed. Rather they are alright at carrying things as long as you don't need to be able to reach them.
People who actually need to get stuff in and out of the back tend to ditch the factory back and put a drop side back on. Especially Australians.

I have had a pick up before and it was great, just what I need now. I have a Toyota Hilux tipper which is terrible, they aren't built like they used to be but also need a conventional pick up as well. The van idea would have worked some of the time but overall the pick up will be a better and far more useful vehicle.
